PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
* Use Solid works to design scroll compressor architecture or components,
considering product cost, efficiency, and reliability to create the best
product on the market.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of product design theory and
practice.
* Create 2D and 3D drawings for prototypes and mass production.
* Develop detailed FMEA designs and qualification plans.
* Prepare clear and logical materials for Project Development Process (PDP)
reviews.
* Utilize quality tooling to solve issues or failures during development.
* File patents for inventions created during daily work.
* Coordinate group meetings with internal/external customers/suppliers
effectively.
* Initiate, execute, and track work plans/activities to meet customer
requirements.
* Effectively complete assignments using all available resources.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Master preferred.
* Minimum 2 years of experience, related to scroll compressors mechanical
design (not in Lab and Model shop, application, etc.).
* Manufacturing knowledge of scroll compressor is a plus.
* Project management skill is a plus
* Language: Fluent English reading and written are must, simple speaking is a
plus, and Japanese is a plus.
* Collaborative working mind set is very important across different locations
and countries.
* Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, CAD software such as SolidWorks,
Pro E, etc.
* Programing skills is a plus, VB, Excel VBA, C, C , Matlab, Fortran, etc.
